TAE KWON DO

Bryan has been involved in Tae Kwon Do since 1989 and is currently a 5th Dan Black Belt. He owned and operated his own Do Jang from 2001-2016, training and coaching hundreds of students of all ages and abilities.

Bryan has won numerous national championships and other tournaments in free sparring, board breaking, and forms. He has performed in hundreds of public demonstrations, participated in dozens of fundraisers, and even used his Tae Kwon Do skills to star in a few infomercials.

In addition, Bryan has several years of experience in Hapkido, Judo, Karate, and Shooto wrestling.

As exciting as the individual accomplishments can be, Bryan’s true fulfillment in Tae Kwon Do happens in working with and witnessing the pride and unbridled joy in individuals from the age of 3-85, from professional athletes to those facing physical and/or mental disabilities, when they find their inner strength to overcome fear, discover their power, and find the determination to make their goals and dreams a reality, whether that comes through as finally executing a new skill, breaking a board, learning a new form, or simply making it through the next class.

For Bryan, teaching Tae Kwon Do is about looking into someone’s eyes and seeing their soul. It’s about understanding the unspoken fears, doubts, anxieties, hopes, goals, and dreams, and then identifying and uncovering the motivations that can inspire individuals to maximize their unique greatness.
