About Bryan

Bryan Busch has been writing and speaking for over 20 years. He is the author of the long-time popular column, State of Mind, and recently released his first full-length novel, The Second Best Time is Now.

Bryan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Master Instructor of Tae Kwon Do, Learning & Development Manager, and a co-owner of a historic restaurant. He has over 20 years of experience leading teams and organizations in the fields of sales & marketing, digital services, financial advising & consulting, and training & development. Bryan is also passionate about volunteer work.

Most importantly, Bryan is a husband and father of four wonderful children. He loves supporting them at baseball games, volleyball matches, gymnastic meets and much more. When not cheering, you can find Bryan hiking, biking, kayaking, working on house projects, at concerts, trying new foods, or exploring new places.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-t), Bryan has the privilege of working with people and families of all ages and backgrounds to focus on overcoming obstacles and improving their wellbeing.

TAE KWON DO

With over 30 years’ of experience and holding the rank of 5th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, along with several years’ additional experience in various other martial arts, Bryan has had the honor of winning numerous awards as an individual, competitor, instructor, and coach.

Rooted in the belief that all people, in all roles, and from all backgrounds deserve continuous opportunities to grow and develop both personally and professionally, Bryan’s efforts focus on helping individuals and teams find their purpose, accomplish their goals, and maximize their potential.

VOLUNTEER

Since childhood, Bryan has had a passion for volunteering in various capacities. Bryan has used Tae Kwon Do as a frequent vehicle to give back, and has had the pleasure of working with numerous organizations to support those in need.

LATEST WORKS

Bryan’s first full-length novel centers on the semi-autobiographical story of Everest, who is reconciling his current circumstances and future life with the pain and weight carried from a traumatic childhood.

Launched in 2001, Bryan’s popular newspaper column focuses on using just 600 words at a time to explore specific mental health topics in a way that is easily consumed, engaging, relatable, and offers tangible ways that we can all work to improve our wellbeing.
